About Jeff Hannah
Owner and practitioner Jeff Hannah grew up in Hawaii with a brotherly, laid-back atmosphere. He brings that same attitude into his clinic and interactions with his patients. However, Jeff also makes sure that what needs to get done gets done. His decades of military experience have shaped him to continuously pursue excellence in all aspects of life. While he is warm and friendly, he also knows when it’s time to get down to business.
As Owner/CEO of Evolution, it is important to Jeff that his patients know that he truly understands their symptoms. During his last Iraq deployment, he realized that he was feeling fatigued, sluggish, and that his mental clarity was not where it usually was. Additionally, he was gaining weight, losing muscle, and did not have the same drive anymore. When he returned from deployment, he was evaluated and found to have very low testosterone levels. He was only in his early 30’s. During his education, understanding men’s and women’s hormones was his focus. Understanding how to fix this drove him then and continues to do so now. There are two aspects to hormone balancing: the science and the art. Jeff excels in balancing both of these well.
Before Evolution Health Services, Jeff worked as a PA for many years (including part of his time in the military). His results and relationships with patients were astounding, but he felt he had the opportunity to provide even greater care. He knew that to realize that goal, he would have to set out on his own venture. Evolution Health Services was founded to provide individualized care with frequent monitoring, with the goal of relief of symptoms.
Jeff and his wife Shellie are from Hawaii and have been married since 2017. Between them they have 7 children ages 12 through 27.
- NCCPA Board Certified Physician Assistant with a master’s in physician assistant studies (MPAS, PA-C)
- 20 years of military experience, including working as a PA in the US Army
- Ten years of experience as a PA-C
- Expertise has been hormone therapy for men and women, weight loss and its supportive medicine for the last 10 years
About Mario Martinez
Mario Martinez is a board-certified physician specializing in Infectious Disease and an internal medicine. Mario attended the University of Texas-Pan American and Edinburg, Texas where he graduated Cum laude with a bachelor of science in biology. He continued his education at Texas-Pan American where he again graduated Cum Laude, receiving a Master of Science in Biology. Mario then attended the Texas Tech University School of Medicine, where he received his degree as a Doctor of Medicine. Following his passion for patient care he completed his Internship and Residency in Internal Medicine at Baylor Scott and White Medical Center in Temple, Texas. Dr. Martinez’s focus and determination to treat the most difficult patients led him to completing a fellowship in Infectious Disease and this is where he currently practices at Baylor Scott and White Medical Center in Temple Texas. He is an expert in his field and is a published author.
Mario also now employs the same diligent approach to ensuring patients who are experiencing the negative impacts of hormone imbalance are able to have their concerns truly addressed and not dismissed as just part of aging. He understands that to be truly healthy, we also have to have the energy, drive and focus to reach those goals that we have set for ourselves. His knowledge and passion for medicine will enable us to bring an Evolution to Hormone balancing.
Mario is proudly married to the love of his life Kirsten Demesa Martinez and together they have 2 boys.
